It's completely normal to feel hesitant, especially walking into seomthing new. Here's what you can expect so there are no surprises:

• No pressure to participate: You are welcome to sit in the back, listen, and just observe. Nobody is going to call you out.

• Casual atmosphere: Thursday nights have a calm and casual environment so vistors can feel comfortable and welcomed.

• People across different stages: Most people attend to find community, whether they grew up in church, have serious doubts, or are exploring faith for the first time. You do not need to have everything figured out to fit in.

• No commitment: Give us a try and if it feels overwhelming or just not your thing, there is zero guilt in slipping out early.

A typical Thursday night usually looks like:

• Food & Hangout: Doors open at 6:00 PM so everyone can hangout before we serve a homemade dinner. We spend 30-45 minutes eating and give everyone an opportunity to catch up and meet new people.

• Group Game or Activity: We love kicking things off with a low-stress, crowd-style game like trivia or team challenges to break the ice and have some fun.

• Bible Study: After games, we gather for a 20-minute interactive Bible study, where we seek to know God better and discover how His Word applies to our daily lives.

• Post-Gathering Community: We wrap up by 8:00 PM, but many people hang out afterward to play games in the gym, continue conversations, or head to Jackson Park to play pickleball.

Thursday Night gatherings are held in the Crosswalk Student Center. You will be greeted as you enter the building. 

If you arrive late, proceed to the large auditorium to your left as you walk in.
